Whether it be another HCPSS school, private school or to a school out of the HCPSS district, we are here to help. If you are transferring to another HCPSS school, our registrars will partner to make the transition as smooth as possible. Q4 Report Cards are mailed home to the address we have on file.  If you have an address change, bring your new residency documents to the front office and we will update your address in the system.  If you have any questions, call Rhonda Hill our Registrar.

From the FRES Reading Team
G’readings FRES Families,

The Forest Ridge annual Book Swap is quickly approaching! The Book Swap is an opportunity for your child to recycle books and to get different books to read over the summer. The Book Swap form went home with your child on Thursday, May 31. During the week of June 4 -8, your child can bring in books that are in good condition (no tears, watermarks, etc.) along with the Book Swap form.  On Wednesday, June 13th your child will be able to choose a different book(s) to take home, based on the number of books they brought in to swap.

Criteria for Swapped Books:

  • Appropriate Subject Matter for Elementary School

  • No Books of Religious Content (HCPSS policy 8070)

  • No ABC Books or Board Books

Your child will be able to take home the same number and type of books as s/he brings to school.  To ensure fair swaps, books will be categorized as:  Picture Books, Early Chapter Books, Novels, or Non-Fiction.  For example, if your child brings in 2 picture books and 1 early chapter book, s/he will be able to swap for 2 different picture books and 1 different early chapter book to bring home.

Thank you and happy swapping :)!
