From our Administrators...

Dear FRES Community,

As we bring the 2023-2024 school year to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible year it has been. From the first day of school jitters to the end-of-year celebrations, we have shared countless moments of learning, growth, and joy. We are deeply grateful to each of you for allowing us the privilege of educating your wonderful children. It has been a year full of achievements, and we couldn't have done it without your support and partnership.

Before we all scatter to enjoy the sunshine, barbecues, and perhaps a well-deserved nap or two, we’d like to offer some encouragement for the summer. We know the lure of the pool is strong, but we hope you'll help your children keep their brains buzzing and their curiosity alive. Encourage them to dive into some great books (preferably not in the pool) and practice their math skills in fun and engaging ways.

Maybe have a family game night with math-based board games or challenge them to a friendly math facts contest while running errands. And remember, reading doesn’t always have to be a solo activity – why not read a book together as a family, or turn car rides into audiobook adventures? Your child might even enjoy reading to the family pet, who we’re sure would appreciate the attention!

We have truly loved every minute of this school year and are already looking forward to welcoming your children back in the fall. Until then, we hope you have a fantastic summer filled with laughter, relaxation, and maybe a little bit of learning too.

Thank you for being part of our wonderful school community. Enjoy the summer, make lots of memories, and we’ll see you in August (only 72 days!) – hopefully with some great stories and maybe even a new favorite book or math trick to share!

Warmest regards,

Mrs. Lannon & Ms. Pazornik
