Grades K - 5 Registrations for 2021-2022 School Year

You can begin the online registration process for students NEW to Howard County! It is recommended that you work on a laptop or desktop using Chrome or Firefox as your browser to complete registration. Cell phone registration is not recommended. There will be no in-person registration appointments at this time. Please call our front office at 410-880-5950 or email Rebecca_Jackson@hcpss.org if you have questions. Please make sure you are selecting the correct school year once you begin.
Registration for the 2021/22 school year for grades K-5 is online. If you have a child currently attending an HCPSS PreK program, there is no need to re-register your student for Kindergarten.
Parents/guardians of children who will be five as of September 1, 2021 must enroll their children in kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year. Complete registration information can be found at https://www.hcpss.org/enroll/
Registrations will be submitted online. Parents will upload documents during the registration process. You can find documents required for registration https://www.hcpss.org/enroll/#docs. If parents choose to not upload documents during the registration process, they will be notified of alternative methods to submit the required documents after we have received the registration.
Once all required documentation is received you will be contacted by registering secretary to set up a virtual appointment using Google Meet.

Pre-Kindergarten Registration begins March 15, 2021!
HCPSS offers a half-day prekindergarten program. Students must be four years old by September 1 to be considered for enrollment. Unlike enrollment for K-12, parents must apply for admission to pre-kindergarten. Learn more →
