School Spirit Days for 23/24
We are excited to share our school spirit days calendar for the 23/24 school year! We hope this helps families plan ahead. There may be spirit days that pop up here and there based on activities that are going on in the building, but this calendar is what we will be following. You may want to print it out, put the dates on your personal calendar, hang it on the fridge - whatever works for you to remember these fun days!
Forest Ridge Family and Friends,
It has been a busy week back from Thanksgiving Break and everyone has worked hard to get back into their routines. Tomorrow our students who participate in Girls on the Run will have their first 5K race! We wish all our students the best of luck and hope that each step brings them closer to success and achievement, as they showcase determination and resilience on the track. Run strong, and may the finish line be the start of a sense of accomplishment and pride!
Next week marks the celebration of Inclusive Schools Week, a significant observance that highlights the importance of fostering inclusive and supportive educational environments. It aims to raise awareness about the significance of inclusive education and the positive impact it has on students of all abilities and backgrounds. Inclusive Schools Week promotes the idea that every student, regardless of their differences, deserves an equal opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive within the school community. It encourages schools to reflect on their practices, policies, and programs, ensuring that they actively embrace diversity and create an atmosphere where every individual feels valued and included. Inclusive Schools Week serves as a reminder of the power of education to unite, inspire, and empower all learners!
As always, our doors are open and we are here to serve the FRES community.

Mrs. Lannon and Ms. Pazornik are super excited to see who the TOP TWO FUNDRAISERS are! They will get to have a fun day as acting principal and acting assistant principal, which will include a lunch of their choice, a name badge and lanyard, and will shadow them throughout the day - even getting to do some teacher "observations" and give out Eddie Bucks to deserving students.
