Dear FRES Community, First and foremost, we hope that everyone in your family is safe and healthy. Our staff this week has been busy learning, meeting, and preparing for when our students return in a couple of weeks. Today’s Forerunner has a lot of important information, please ensure you read through it all carefully. Stay safe, Mr. Conroy and Ms. Pazornik Student Device Distribution Thank you to everyone who has filled out the survey form. We are down to less than 20 students who have not completed the form. Staff members were calling families today to complete the process. Families who requested a device, either through the survey or directly from a staff member or interpreter, will be emailed directly with details on where and when devices can be picked up. Families who have not yet completed the Student Technology Survey are still encouraged to do so. Please be assured that our process for deploying devices follows social distancing guidelines to assure health and safety for families and staff. More information about student devices is provided online. As a reminder, students will not need their device until April 20th, when on-line learning begins for elementary students. In addition to the Coronavirus, seasonal allergies are also a medical concern. It is often hard to distinguish the reason for common symptoms. Medical advice is best at this time. Please seek medical attention should anyone in your home develops fever, cough, difficulty breathing, headache or nausea. If you need help finding medical care resources please email me at margaret_morris@hcpss.org Asthma can worsen with coronavirus. Please read the attached information if you or a loved one has asthma. This is a fact sheet from the Allergy and Asthma Network. Information changes frequently and one update to this fact sheet is that asthma inhalers may be in high demand.
