IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THOSE WITH MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Medical Assistance has been automatically renewed since March 2020. With the end of the Public Health Emergency quickly approaching, AUTOMATIC RENEWALS WILL STOP AS OF APRIL 30, 2023. Please call the Howard County Health Dept. Insurance Line at 410-313-5845 to check your status and prevent any lapse in insurance coverage. They will assist you and provide an appointment to renew your coverage, if needed.

Atholton High School Spring Musical
Atholton High School presents "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" on March 23, 24, 25 @ 7:00 p.m., with an afternoon show on March 25 at 3:00 p.m. Use the QR code on the flyer to purchase tickets.
Savage Library Reading Night – March 29th
Come out to Savage Library and join the FRES community in Reading Night. Additional information will be provided soon.
The FRES "Smart Talk" Family Virtual Event is Thursday, April 13th from 7 - 8 pm!
The "Smart Talk" is a free live virtual learning event for caregivers and their elementary-aged children to attend together from the comfort of their own home & their own devices. Feeling conflicted about device and online safety ground rules? Join the Smart Talk program together to hear some tips and then walk through a series of activities to complete an agreement that you and your child can feel works for your family! National PTA and Norton co-created The Smart Talk to help families feel safer and more empowered in their digital lives. Join our FRES live event to hear guest speaker, Joe Dugan, Internet Safety Specialist from the Maryland State Police, and FRES parents share ideas and lead us through "Smart Talk" activities! Watch for the Zoom registration link and more details for logging on as well as ways to win some fun raffle and door prizes for attending!
PTA Meeting – April 18th – 7pm
Join us in the cafeteria for our monthly meeting. We will be discussing fun upcoming events. We will have a babysitter available.
FRES Carnival & Silent Auction – Work Meeting – April 19th 6:30pm
Volunteers, please join us for a Carnival planning and prep session on Wednesday, April 19th 6:30 - 8:00pm in the FRES Media Center.
We are also seeking donations for our silent auction. If you or someone you know are interested in donating gift cards/certificates, goods, or services to be auctioned please email Barbara at ssgumes@gmail.com.
Chuck E. Cheese Fundraiser – April 21st
Join the FRES Community at Chuck E. Cheese in Laurel on Friday, April 21st from 12pm – 9pm. All sales completed with a cashier will allow 20% to be donated to FRES. A flyer will be coming home with more information after spring break.
Chalk the Walk – April 30th
Save the date, to come out and chalk the walks of FRES as we prepare for Staff Appreciation Week being celebrated May 1-5 at FRES. Additional information will be provided after spring break.
