ABSENTEES & RETAKE DAY Tuesday, October 18, 2017
All students who were absent or are new to FRES since September 8 will be photographed. Parents of new students or students who were absent should contact the main office for an order envelope if they wish to order portraits. You may also have your portraits retaken on this day if you are not happy with the original portrait. The entire portrait package must be returned. Please have your child bring the portrait package to the photographer on retake day.
Hearing and Vision Screening
Hearing and Vision screenings will be held for kindergarten, 1st grade, and new students on Tuesday October 10, 2017. Hearing and vision re-screening will take place on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
Family File MUST Be Updated Yearly, even if the info has not changed.
This is for your child's safety. Please take the time to update the file. Your child will not be permitted to attend a field trip until the Family File is updated. This will be strictly enforced. In addition, your child's interim progress report or report card may also be held.

Mental Health First Aid Training

Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack — even if you have no clinical training — Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health related crisis. In this eight-hour course, you will learn how to apply a five-step action plan to situations such as helping someone through a panic attack, engaging with someone who may be suicidal or assisting an individual who has overdosed. Audience: Appropriate for adult learners 18 and older
