FRES Students Show Support for Plastic Bag Legislation 

The 4th and 5th grade Green Teams have written testimonies to Maryland lawmakers to support HB 1166, which, if passed, will authorize Howard County to impose a fee on disposable plastic bags. The Environment and Transportation Committee will hear testimonies in Annapolis on Tuesday, March 12.  Details of the bill may be found here!
